‭‭God gives a hand to those down on their luck, gives a fresh start to those ready to quit.

Generous to a fault, you lavish your favor on all creatures.

“Generous to a fault.”

This could sound a little like enabling to a fault, but if you have been a recipient of God’s generosity, it is everything but enablement. God knows what we need and when we need it. God is never too soon or not too late, although we sometimes think differently of God’s timing, saying things like, “If only this,” or “if only that.”

Maybe this is another clue we are trying to be the head and not the body? Oh God, help!
