“Although Israel often grumbled against Moses and God, God never left them empty-handed. God either graciously sweetened existing bitter water or brought water out of a lifeless rock.”
Promised Treasurers: Daily Devotions
I have been a grumbler this week. I have also experienced God’s gracious provision. It’s wild how God still cares for me no matter my complaint.
God’s head is not turned away, arm too short to help, nor heart hardened toward me. I am accepted just as I am. I am held just as I am. I am cared for just as I am.
Thank you, God, for all the many ways you care for me. Even in my ashes, you are there, holding me.
