The Christ Candle

We light the Christ candle for many different reasons. From young to small, searching, curious, open, and even undecided on our faith journey, we all search for something outside of ourselves. Has this something been with us our whole entire lives? What if we looked within instead? Would we find what we have been searching for? Would we find that Christ has come and that Christ continues to come each time we reach back toward the manger or forward to the cross? It is here that I find Christ always reaching for me in the present.
